Each performance on The Not Too Far From Home Comedy Tour typically attracts between 50 and 75 people and sometimes more, especially when venues have offered dinner and show packages to audiences.
The “season” for standup comedy in the Northeast typically runs from October through April. That is when professional standup comedy performances are most popular and draw the largest audiences. Summer shows are most popular in tourist areas with heavy tourist traffic.
Standup comedy performances are a great way to boost your venue’s bottom line through increased food and beverage sales and to offer a different kind of entertainment. Professional standup comedy performances draw existing and new customers to venues.
Ticket prices range from $10 per person to $20 per person, depending on the venue, the local economy, and the typical ticket price at a venue. The average ticket price for most standup comedy shows is $15 per person. The average price for dinner and a show is $35 per person. We can work within most entertainment budgets. We typically charge a reasonable flat fee to the venue for the show and venues usually have no problem making the flat fee from ticket sales and pocketing additional profit from ticket sales beyond the flat fee.
